We have someone coming over tomorrow to pick up the table, chairs, and buffet, as well as the recliner. This weekend, the piano will go. Our house is going to feel SO EMPTY!

Our plan is to go through all the things we have to for the garage sale a week before the sale so that the week immediately preceeding can be one filled with our painting projects (patching mostly, plus the hallway woodwork) and last-minute repairs (linen closet doors, base boards, etc.). That way we have a whole week to "discover" additional shit for the garage sale. Yikes. This is freaky!

You know what? You've done so much work on that house you deserve a little creative time. Go for it. I can't wait to see the shadowboxes, and the dolls, up close. I'm greedy for more Kate art.

The doll's face is incredible! I think the idea we chatted about this morning is a winner, Kate. You should open a small art studio/supply store/art school. You know I'd be your first customer/student.

Did I mention I am greedy for more Kate art? Greedy, greedy, greedy. Actually I'm just greedy for more Kate. Period.

Love you!

I have an idea for little shadowboxes - playing off your fish of course. Tiny bugs in clay (dragonfly, ladybug, bumblebee, etc.) hanging on fishing line, with interiors painted like a garden - thistle flowers, sunflowers, etc. Maybe even a hummingbird.

That's about the limit of my creative juices for the day, so I hope that helped!

Oh Leslie, what a cute idea!
