Here's the crack in the ceiling that we had repaired. It's hard to see in this photo that the crack extended about 7 feet out from the wall and there was a large bulge hanging over the fireplace. Here's the ceiling man working on it -

Oh, see the fireplace screen? Jeff made that a few years ago and even though it fits this fireplace perfectly, it's coming with us because I love it so much. It's gorgeous when there's a roaring fire and it's lit from behind.

Speaking of Jeff, think good thoughts for him today, he's working today and tomorrow - long hours that start at 5am. I miss him when he works everyday.
